The Art of Blogging

I’ve noticed recently that more and more bloggers are simply linking to other peoples’ content rather than sharing their own ideas or opinions, and it makes me wonder, why bother? Never before have the masses had an open forum through which to express themselves and yet it’s being taken for granted. We finally have a collective voice that speaks louder than that of the media, so why not say something?

You may be wondering how I can stand up here on my soap box preaching away in my very first post – rest assured, the irony isn’t lost of me. While my thoughts may not be of interest to the world at large, at least they’re my own, and I promise never to post anything without some form of commentary.

Because really, how much fun would that be?
